Trans Himalayan Tribals

The people from Lower and Shivalik Himalayas are Aryan and they are mostly Hindu. Kullu district was on the boundry between lower and trans Himalayas. The old name of Kullu was Kullantdasha means "The End of Inhabitat World". Manali and its sorrounding area have generally 5-20 feet snow in winter season. You can enjoy skiing in Himachal between January to June on different slopes. If you are looking for ski touring in late winter or in spring then this is the best place.

Majority of people are Lamaist Buddhist and they share the same culture and living standards in trans Himlayan region. Most of the trans Himalayan region in Western Himalayas is approachable by roads only 4 months in a year between 15th of June of 15th of October. Generally we only operate tours and adventure activities in Trans Himlayan region only between 1st of July to 15th of September.
