Snowland Holiday Pvt. Ltd. is a well known inbound tour operators based at Manali, organizing trekking, jeep safari, mountaineering expeditions, paragliding joyride and courses, white water river rafting, cultural, wildlife and pilgrims tours. We have good knowledge about the area we operate in and we are always prepared for alternate arrangements in case of change in itinerary due to any reason.

We believe in keeping the Himalayas clean and green. We train all our staff to keep all the areas we operate in and camping sites clean. We always try to minimize the use of plastic bags in our treks to help the conservation and the well-being of the inhabitants of the region, thus ensuring that future generations will be able to enjoy a clean and unspoilt Himalayas.

Location    With our Branch Office at Delhi, our head office is located at Manali, Himachal Pradesh in the lower Western Himalayas. In its location Himalayas is divided into the Eastern Himalayas, the Central Himalayas and the Western Himalayas. Geographically it comprises the Shivalik Himalayas, the Lower Himalayas, the High Himalayas and the Trans Himalayas. Due to our location in the Lower Himalayas, we are in a position to provide adventure activities in the different regions of Himalayas. Lower Himalayas includes all the valleys between 1000m and 3200m. This area is good for alpine trekking with lush green valleys and small glaciers, river rafting in fast following rivers, paragliding at different altitudes, viewing of wildlife in well preserved National Parks, angling in fast following rivers, visiting temples and experiencing the rich Himalayan culture.

The High Himalayas covers the Himalayan range with an altitude of 3200m and above. In the Western Himalayas we have high peaks of 7000m and above. There are a number of peaks and passes between 5000m to 7000m, which provides very good opportunities for mountaineering and high altitude trekking.

The Trans Himalayas includes the highland of the World the Tibetan plateau. Ladakh and Spiti are part of the Tibetan Plateau, which offers good opportunity to experience the rich Buddhist culture and visits to monasteries of the Trans Himalayan region. Leh the headquarters of Ladakh is only 475 km from Manali. Kaza the headquarters of Spiti is only 200 km from Manali. The journey from Manali to Leh and from Manali to Kaza reveal the great changes in the Himalayan geography from the Lower Himalayas to the High Himalayas to the Trans Himalayan region.

We offer  all ground arrangements for sightseeing, wildlife, pilgrims, cultural and adventure tours starting from your arrival at Delhi airport. Our services including airport transfers, hotel bookings, air-conditioned and non air-conditioned chartered or public transport, domestic air-ticketing, railway reservations and English speaking tour escorts.

Carefully selected accommodation - We care about the accommodation, we are going to provide you. We provide different types of accommodation on different tours. In most cases we select the small guest houses and hotels which blend with the environment of the area. Most of these guest houses are constructed according to the traditional local style with reasonable comforts.

 

Tailor made and fixed departures - You can choose to join a small group with fixed departures or have a tailor made itinerary as per your requirements. We generally operate from Delhi airport, but you can prepare your own itinerary and let us organize only the adventure and most difficult part and you organize the rest of the itinerary to suit your taste.

 

Our own trained tour escorts - All our tours are escorted by our own trained tour escorts. They posses a good knowledge of the area. They are carefully selected specially for their enthusiasm for providing good services to our guests. Their job is to ensure the smooth running of your trip. They always ensure the best services and are knowledgeable about the area you are going to visit. We don't organize our fixed departure trips without our own trained tour escorts.

Small groups - We believe that you enjoy more when you are travelling in a small group. The maximum size of our fixed departure groups is 12. This gives us a lot of flexibility to change the mode of transport from mini buses to trains to jeeps or the rafts or motorbikes etc. Small groups also provide you a lot of chances to get close to local people.

Local touch - We provide visits to local villages, which can include local folk dance parties with the local people at certain places. You will be able to enjoy the company of the villagers and the habitants of the region.

Fixed tour cost includes  chartered transport to and from aiport, all transfers and sightseeing including entrance fees to visit the monuments. All accommodation with breakfast in towns and all other meals during camping and trekking. Most of our Himalayan tour include trekking or camping.
